Privacy & Security

MSP-1 encourages transparent, privacy-respecting metadata practices and secure deployment strategies.

1. Minimal Data Exposure

MSP-1 metadata SHOULD NOT expose personal or sensitive data. Only high-level, non-identifying details should be included in profiles.

2. Secure Hosting & Access

Implementations MUST follow modern security practices including HTTPS, certificate hygiene, and consistent origin policies.

3. Data Provenance Integrity

Provenance fields MUST accurately reflect authorship and review processes. False claims may degrade trust and introduce risk.

4. Integration Considerations

When MSP-1 interacts with internal systems or AI workflows, implementers SHOULD ensure secure transmission, logging, and access control.
